CES is the research and consultancy wing of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Eduardo Mondlane in Mozambique. The centre undertakes research and consultancy work in a number of fields including water, energy and rural infrastructure. The centre undertakes a number of studies and design assignment for the government of Mozambique, bilateral donors and industrial concerns in Mozambique.
