The Alzahid Group of Companies was started in 1951 with Alzahid Construction.During that time,
construction was in full bloom and our parent organization was involved in town planning,
construction of building, roads and other facilities. By 1958 the company was in full swing, building
bridges, tunnels. Flyovers, roads, etc, were successfully established.

Alzahid Group has started in the early 80's to focus on Industrial Sector and by early 90's moved to
Heavy Industry and Mining and now that is the core of Alzahid Group business activities.
The board of directors, chaired by an elected member on a tri-annual basis, is made up of eight
members. This board saw the need for an in-house finance system to avoid the problems that
many business entities suffer, due to dependence on monetary institutions, and decided to
establish a member company to finance the complete operations of the group. That is how Alzahid
Finance was created.
