Description
OF-1055, REACH approved, is a brominated p-tert-octylphenol formaldehyde heat reactive resin. The clotting of OF-1055 is decreased during transit and storage because of higher softening point.
OF-1055 is made on a large scale, resulting in slight quality difference between batches.
OF-1055 is safe in use, with a faint halogen odor. It is soluble in xylene, acetone etc.
Application
OF-1055 is a curing agent for the rubber of low unsaturation value especially IIR and EPDM. OF-1055 resin easily disperses and operates, giving faster sulfurizing speed, no need of activator, simple composition, and good scorch safety.
OF-1055 resin is used for bladders, bottle stopper, seals, heat-resistant gasket, roll, pressure sensitive adhesives. The recommended dosage is 1.5~8 phr. |
