Envirofoam? is currently composed of a minimum of 30% post consumer EPS with the balance being post industrial. By utilizing Envirofoam? in new packaging products that are destined for EPS, the user is participating in the closed loop system of Recover, Recycle, Reduce, and Reuse. The recovery effort allows for the net reduction in the generation of the solid waste through collection. The recycling effort facilitates the reuse of the recovered EPS product. The reduction effort replaces virgin EPS with recycled EPS. The reuse of the resin is achieved through the manufacturing process utilizing the recovered packaging (EPS) as a primary feedstock.
